Check the format of the given dataset and do necessary cleaning

Syntax

Description

dsDataCheck(DS) checks the format of the given dataset DS. It returns 1 if there is any errors in the format.

[status, message]=dsDataCheck(DS) also returns the error message if any.

Example

ds=prData('iris');
ds.input(2, :)=1;
ds.input(4, 3)=inf;
ds.input(3, 2)=nan;
ds2=dsDataClean(ds);

1 features ({'petal length'}) are removed from the dataset due to NaN
1 features ({'petal width'}) are removed from the dataset due to inf
1 features ({'sepal width'}) are removed from the dataset due to same-value elements
