Electronic Submission of Cover Sheet

Starting ICASSP-98, prospective authors will be able to complete the Paper Cover Sheet electronically. You are strongly encouraged to use this method so that all your material is available to us in electronic form. This will save us the time to re-enter all the data into a database, and it dramatically reduces the chances of errors in generating the indices, Final Program and Conference Guide.

When you enter a new paper proposal, you will be requested to enter the information requested in the Paper Proposal Cover Sheet as well as the Abstract of your paper. At that time you will be assigned a paper number. It is very important that you write down this paper number, since you will need it for all further processing. If you make a mistake, or want to double-check your entry, you can update an existing paper proposal. After you complete this process you will print a paper copy of the electronic Cover Sheet.

You are STILL REQUIRED to mail the 6 copies of your Cover Sheet, even for those who submit their papers electronically, in addition to the copyright form.

If you cannot successfully complete the Paper Cover Sheet via the web follow the instructions in Chapter 7 FLOPPY DISK PREPARATION to prepare a floppy disk with that information. If you successfully complete the electronic submission of the Paper Cover Sheet, you do not need to generate the floppy disk.

Enter a new Paper Cover Sheet. This is strictly for new paper proposal only. If you want to make changes to an already-submitted proposal, please use Update an existing paper proposal. You will enter here the Authors' names, title, contact information, as well as the Abstract of your paper and you will be assigned a paper number. It is very important that you write down this paper number, since you will need it for all further processing. You will then print your completed Paper Cover Sheet, since you need to send 6 hard copies to Courtesy Associates.
