Introduction
We are recently carrying out a research on automatic English pronunciation scoring. The
current focus of the research is on stress detection and scoring. We have a speech corpus
that needs to be manually scored so that these human rating scores can be used as both the
learning target of the algorithm and the ground truth labels for evalution.
Task Description
- Number of raters required: 5
- Rater qualification: postgraduate students (in English related department) are preferred, undergraduate students are also acceptable
- Wage: postgraduate NT$120/hr, undergraduate NT$100/hr
- Estimated working hour: 32~34 hours, actual working hours might be different to all raters
- Task: listen to each English word recording and rate it in a 1 to 5 scale based on how well the stress is placed
- Working venus: anywhere where you can access to a computer
Wave File Description
- Recording length: 3 seconds
- Recording content: one multisyllabic English word for each recording (words with 2 or more syllables)
