Author's Kit General Instructions
Things to do:
- Read the Paper Preparation first,
regarding the format of your paper. You should use the
Sample Paper and Templates to help
you prepare your manuscript. You should also see instructions
for Abstract Preparation.
- Prepare a camera-ready paper, at most 4 pages long, including
figures and references, and find an appropriate subcategory from
the Paper Categories for your paper.
- Do Electronic Submission of the Paper Cover Sheet.
Here you will get your paper number and a password which you need to write
down. If you are unable to complete the electronic submission of your
paper cover sheet, you'll need to prepare a
floppy disk containing the cover sheet information and abstract,
fill out the Paper Cover Sheet manually
and skip Step 4.
- Do Electronic Submission of the
postscript file of your full paper. You can only do this if you
successfully completed step 3.
- Fill out one copy of the
Copyright Form.
- Mail the package following the Mailing Instructions.
The package has to be received by the conference office on or
before November 3, 1997.
Things NOT to do:
- No papers will be accepted by fax.
- No individual may appear as an author on more than three paper proposals.
- No individual may appear as the first or sole author on more than one paper
proposal.
- No papers will be accepted after Nov, 3, 1997
- Paper proposals that do not include the Paper Cover Sheet will be rejected
without review.
- Papers exceeding 4-page long will be rejected without review.
- Papers from authors who failed to present an accepted paper at ICASSP-97 without
justification ("no shows") will be rejected without review.
In addition to accessing the Author's Kit through the web, you can
also retrieve the Author's Kit in one file.

indicate step-by-step the procedure required. They are also listed in the
navigation bar on the left of this page.
