Social Events

A number of receptions will take place at ICASSP '98, in the evenings of Monday through Thursday. On Monday the Welcoming Reception will help to kick off the conference. On Tuesday, students will have a chance of meeting the DSP pioneers at the Meet the Pioneers Reception. ICASSP '98 Exhibitors will hold an Exhibitors Reception on Wednesday. Finally, every attendee is encouraged to attend the Awards Banquet, where the 1998 Signal Processing Society Awards will be presented. Nathan Myhrvold, Chief Technology Officer of Microsoft, will deliver a speech at the Awards Banquet.
